A bit of micro direction merely every sales task is similar that...of fleck of over expected goals with too many mouths to feed at a time. Getting ahead ways working more hours and never really seeing the light of day unless your looking out the showroom window.

  5. Current Employee, less than 1 year

    Pros

This company was kind of a terminal second awarding for me, but I couldn't exist happier with the company I piece of work for. Managment is top notch, my direct manager feels more similar a jitney and back up effigy than an over-controlling person. The training is very helpful and paced out to your learning speed. Culture is great, awesome co-workers, even a little friendly contest from fourth dimension to time.

    Cons

On the kids side, it is very hard to go out of Draw (The amount of money you "owe" the company before you make commission. You go paid hourly, but if you lot dont brand that back in commission, you begin to "owe" the company and get little to no committee) Dull days are terrible. I've had a few days where I run across one to 2 customers a solar day and they were my only up for the day. The computer arrangement and tablets nosotros use are constantly crashing. Information technology'due south not uncommon for it to happen in the heart of the sale and you lot have to explicate to the client how your tablet crashed and you demand to restart it.

    Pros

Rooms to go is by far the best company I've worked for they definitely opened alot of doors for me considering I started working as a office associate but and then I found out how much more the sales associates were making and I had a family to feed so I always went beyond in what ever information technology is I had to in the office to stand out because I knew they similar to promote from inside so I ended up going to kids sales and doubling my income my offset year. Not to mention the great benefits they offer the managers are always very helpful and the selling techniques they train y'all on are some of the all-time in the industry, Personal days off, vacation every 6 months, and 100% commission so you decide how big your cheque is.

    Cons

I have naught bad to say about this company.

  7. Current Employee, less than i year

Great benefits. Family oriented. Caring. Cracking opportunity to motion upwards in the visitor!

    Cons

Only con would be the hours, but this is retail.

    Pros

Plenty of Hours, Nice-ish People, Occasional Free Food, Anticipated

    Cons

While working a lot of hours is great, information technology sucks that I have to work ix+ hours with merely a measly xxx minute dejeuner interruption. If I didn't bring tiffin, I was screwed because at that place were no immediate places to grab annihilation. And this was simply special to lower level function staff, all the salespeople and managers got an hour for lunch. I got written upward for having to take a sick twenty-four hour period in my first calendar week (a stomach bug ruined my existence) considering I had no personals due to not being employed for 90 days. Managing director straight up told me "Just exist here for your shift, no matter what". Fifty-fifty if y'all're sick, your child is ill, your parents die, y'all can't miss a shift in your outset 90 days or else it's grounds for existence written up. The work was boring, a lot of paper pushing, bureaucracy, and dealing with upset customers (whom I felt terrible for because RTG policies kind of spiral people over once the piece of furniture is delivered). I was told initially that I was overqualified and that the work would be very mundane to me (recent college grad, took the job to pay bills while I was job hunting), just I didn't know work could be THAT tedious. To add insult to injury, we weren't allowed to accept whatever electronic devices in the office so, no music/podcasts to listen to during the slow times (which happened a lot). Speaking of electrical devices, they apply dinosaur computers that are loaded with archaic software programs (Windows 2007 lol)> Their main CRM is this early on 90's-esque programme that you accept to memorize keyboard commands to get in operate. My BIGGEST issue with RTG has to be the fact that their direct deposit takes FOREVER to kick in. I've worked at a lot of places and never had directly eolith accept over 2 pay cycles to kick in. On paydays, I take to expect effectually until god knows when to FINALLY get a call that my check has arrived. I retrieve that'due south an awful way to care for employees, especially for a company that's such a stickler about timeliness. I'm waiting on the arrival of my terminal paycheck now, which I was told would be straight deposited, only isn't.

Nosotros desire to give a HUGE CONGRATS to Dawn Yarchin, Kristin Paxton and Lauren Palfi! They were second quarter winners from our Myrtle Beach part. Pictured also with their Office Director, Myisha Webster, they received a "99" for their role audit score, which is an incredible accomplishment! Go on up the great work Myrtle Beach!
